1- Kartalkaya Ski Resort, Bolu

Kartalkaya is truly one of the most entertaining ski resorts in Turkiye, with its 2200-meter-high mountain peak, the snow height reaching 3-4 meters in winter, the long ski season between December and April, the pleasant ski hotels, the magnificent views of the Koroglu Mountains and Bolu plateaus among the magnificent nature.

Located within the Bolu – Koroglu Mountain Culture and Tourism Protection Zone, Kartalkaya Ski Center is an easy-to-reach winter holiday center with a driving distance of 263 kilometers from Istanbul and 186 kilometers from Ankara.

In Kartalkaya, there are 25 slopes and slopes with a total length of 40 kilometers and 18 different ski lifts and ski lifts, which will appeal to beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers.

2-Uludag Ski Resort, Bursa

Uludag Ski Resort is one of the oldest and most well-known ski resorts in our country. The longest of these tracks has a length of about two kilometers. Uludag, the highest mountain of the Marmara Region, stretches in the northwest-southeast direction. Uludag is 1 hour away from Bursa center and 220 km away from Istanbul.

Uludag, one of the oldest ski resorts in our country, is connected to Bursa city center with Bursa Cable Car, Turkiye’s first cable car, which was put into service in 1963. 3- Sarikamis Ski Resort, Kars

Sarikamis is a ski resort that can compete with the ski centers in the Alps of Europe with the quality of the coarse grained snow falling like crystals.

Since the ski slopes are closed to the wind between the Sarıcam Forests and the air in Sarikamis is dry, the snow covering the hills and tracks maintains its freshness and quality for a long time.

Here, the falling crystal snow almost follows you as a cloud of white dust while skiing and snowboarding. Since it does not create any friction feeling, you feel as if you are flying without any effort.

It is really enjoyable to skate among the wonderful landscapes of the pine forests, accompanied by bird sounds, squirrels and white powder snow.

In addition, thanks to the natural pine forests on the Sarikamis hills, it is not an avalanche danger and there is very rare fog because the air is not humid. Even in the case of fog, you can determine your direction and create a field of vision thanks to the trees. In other words, you have the luxury of skiing without wind, fog and avalanche danger in Sarikamis, which receives an average of 57 days of snow a year.

There are different tracks for Alpine and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, touring skiing and mountain sledding on the tracks descending from the 2634-meter-high Bayraktepe – Cibiltepe summit to the skirts. There are 9 different tracks, including a 3 km long track for beginners and a 13 km long downhill track. Its total length is 25 kilometers.

At the peak of Sarikamis which has two stages, the magnificent views of Allahuekber, Aladag and Sarikamis greet you. 7 different tracks descending from the summit to the first stage and to the side of the Dark Creek are suitable tracks for intermediate and good skiers.

It is also possible to ski at night, as these tracks between the pines are illuminated at night.

In addition, Sarikamis has a 200-meter half-pipe snowboard track and a 45-kilometer cross country ski track, 5 kilometers of which is FSI registered.

4- Palandoken Ski Resort, Erzurum

Located on the Palandoken Mountains, the 3200-meter-high Buyuk Ejder Hill is Turkiye’s highest, steepest and most challenging ski track.
Ejder and Kapıkaya tracks are the longest tracks in Turkey with a length of 12 kilometers, with 12 combinations approved by the FIS International Ski Federation with their suitability for Slalom and Grand Slalom competitions.
In Palandoken, besides skiing and snowboarding, you can also sled, participate in activities such as ATV racing and paint ball.
The air temperature in Palandoken varies between -10 and -20, but since the region is not humid, the temperature felt is higher, so you don’t get too cold.
It snows on average 50 days a year in Palandoken and the snow stays on the ground for 4 months because the weather is always cold. The falling snow is a quality powder snow. In addition, thanks to the artificial snow production system, there is no problem of lack of snow on the tracks.
You can ski at night on illuminated tracks. The length of the illuminated track is 4.5 kilometers.

5-Erciyes Ski Resort, Kayseri

Erciyes Ski Resort, which has more than thirty tracks, is one of the most modern ski centers in Turkiye with international standards. Erciyes Mountain, with a height of 3917 meters, is the highest peak of the Central Anatolia Region. The ski resort located on Erciyes Mountain has become one of the most popular ski routes in Turkiye.

Erciyes Ski Resort is located 25 km from Kayseri city center. The summit of the ski resort, located on Mount Erciyes, an extinct volcanic mountain, is 3 thousand 916 meters. The northern slope of Erciyes, the highest mountain in Central Anatolia, is known as Tekir Plateau, where the ski center is located.

Ski facilities are located between 2 thousand 150 meters and 3 thousand 400 meters. The slope of the tracks varies between 10% and 50%. Erciyes Ski Resort, which has one of the longest chairlifts in Turkiye, also offers services such as equipment rental and ski training.
